What remained of my green bean supply was mostly from Indonesia. The coffees here seem very grown-up, with a lot of peppery flavors. They are richer and fuller in very unique ways. Ways I’ve yet to be able to describe to you, but give me time. Anyway, here’s a first pass at roasting using my Whirley Pop popcorn popper and a portable butane stove, the kind you see being used at Sunday brunches.

I under-roasted this one, should have let it go another minute or two. But first day back on the roaster and I can’t complain too much. Nice, flavorful cup. The beans had very little chaff too. Here’s what Sweet Maria’s had to say about this coffee.
